The activities and the furure extension of the verification of operational wind and wave forecast systems is reviewed.
Current status and future works
Current verification results:
Every month data from the different participating centres are gathered and assembled into data files that can be analysed. A straightforward analysis of the data is performed at ECMWF and made available in graphical and tabular form.
